Upcoming SUFA Meetings:

Meetings are held on the second Monday in the Sunnyvale Senior Center’s Laurel Room (550 East Remington Drive) at 7pm.

2024 Meeting Schedule – Mondays January 8, February 12, March 11, April 8, May 13, June 10, July 8, August 12, September 9, October 14, November 11, no December Meeting

Upcoming Events:

Spring Events will include tree walks throughout the city, a youth oriented tree walk at the library, a tree talk, and other outreach events.

April 20, 2024 – 11:00am-3:00pm – Earth Day Celebration at the Library. Visit the SUFA table to learn about the urban forest and participate in child-oriented interactive activities. This annual event showcases Sunnyvale environmental organizations and is held on the Library Plaza.

May 11, 2024 – 2:00-3:30pm – Presentation on the Urban Forest and Tree Walk at the Library. Enjoy a discussion on Sunnyvale’s urban forest and then join a tree walk around the library grounds to learn about specific trees in the area. The presentation will run from 2:00-2:45pm, the tree walk will run from 2:45-3:30pm. Meet in the Program Room.
