SUFA Tree Donation
SUFA donated $500 to St. Luke Lutheran Church (1025 The Dalles Ave., 94087) on December 4, 2017.
Three crepe myrtles and one sweet gum tree were to be planted in the strip adjacent to the parking lot in the north of the property.
Joyce Masterson and Denise Tsang from St. Luke’s were instrumental in selecting the trees and working with Gachina Landscape Management.
These trees will provide a screen for the neighbors and add to the canopy cover in the urban forest of Sunnyvale!
Sunnyvale Middle School
Eight 6th to 8th graders from the Garden Club at Sunnyvale Middle School came out to plant two valley oaks on March 8, 2017. Darren Aho (teacher) and Diane Guerin (parent volunteer) were also there to help plant the trees.
