Our Urban Forest – Presentation at the Library

Saturday, October 8 – 2:00-3:30pm.  Meet in the Program Room at the Sunnyvale Library.

Trees can do it all!  Well, almost.  Trees do store carbon, reduce urban heat, improve neighborhood safety, and make us happier.  Learn about Sunnyvale’s urban forest, the role the urban forest plays in our community, and what to consider when selecting a tree to plant.   Join an optional tree walk after the presentation to visit and learn about some of the trees that comprise our urban forest near the library.

Outreach:

Visit us at our outreach events and/or volunteer to help staff a table (volunteer at info@sunnyvaletrees.org).
